The
Korean Language Education major is an interdisciplinary field that explores deeper knowledge of the expertise and
teaching methods to
improve Korean communication skills for non-native speakers of Korean. Students
develop a systematic and in-depth understanding of the Korean language and
culture from a global perspective and acquire the theoretical and practical
knowledge required to teach Korean language and culture systematically and
effectively, qualifying them to be Korean language teachers (Korean Language
Teacher Certificate Level 2 upon graduation).
In addition, students will grow into
creative leaders who lead global innovation by spreading and mediating Korean
language and culture globally by cultivating ed-tech skills and professional
translation and interpretation skills that can lead innovation in the Korean
teaching and learning system.
